V. Hidalgo obtained his Mechanical Engineer degree at EPN in 2008, obtaining his master’s degree in Fluid Mechanics at CUMT (China 2012). Ph.D in Power Engineering and Thermal Physics Engineering at the University of Tsinghua (China 2016).

Victor Hidalgo is working on numerical simulation and software code development for fluid mechanics, image processing and data analysis. He likes to work with GNU-Linux operating system due to in fact that its versatility and applicability on servers and numerical clusters. He applied C++, python, rush, JavaScript and Go language on Computational Fluid Mechanics with OpenFOAM. In this context, He wrote more than forty scientist papers using free and open source software, which are using on hydraulic industries and hydraulic turbine machinery. Now, he is an Associate Professor at Escuela Politécnica Nacional of Ecuador, EPN, Vice president of Latin Group of IAHR focused on turbine machinery and the President of The EPN Professors Association (ADEPON). He received the recognition of outstanding researcher and the recognition of researcher with the greatest impact in 2021 by the EPN and the Best Researcher Award by The International Research Awards on Science, Health and Engineering.

Believer in science-oriented solutions to the biggest challenges of our time. Leonardo had pursued various trailblazing research ideas in Ecuador related to new materials and their real world applications, largely through his experience gained at several world class research institutions.

Leonardo has been named Outstanding Researcher at his home institution, directed several research projects and published over 50 research papers, many of them on the best journals of the world.

LB/JD Law. LLM Comparative Law CUPL (China), Phd (c) UIBE International Law (china)A. Puente served as Director to Latin America at LehmanBush. Over his career Mr. Puente has advised Chinese companies in FDI&ODI projects in Ecuador and South America on infrastructure, energy and investments.

Puente has more than 10 years of legal experience in his home country and more than 8 years collaborating with Chinese clients.

Achievements:

Served as legal council in Ecuador for Five Fortune Global 500 Chinese State Owned Enterprises. Currently, Mr. Puente is in charge of Business Development at Golden Sparrow.

Luis obtained his lawyer license in 2012. Executive MBA from the Pontificia Universidad Católica (PUCV) (2022-2023), LLM Master International Law from the China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL) (2015), Diploma in Mastery Negotiation (2021), Harvard University Business School Online, Diploma in Corporate Finance (2020) Universidad del Desarrollo, Chile, and Bachelor’s in Law, Universidad Nacional Andres Bello, Chile (2010).

Luis has worked as Commercial Manager of the Latin American market in the Chinese SOE “Metallurgical Corporation of China” (MCC) based in Beijing (company in Forbes S&P ranking, ENR Top 500) in charge of the commercial development of the Latin American market for the development of EPC mining projects, power generation and public infrastructure. 

Luis currently works for Cuprolog Group Chile, leading business development with Asia and Latin America in the areas of mining, machinery, agriculture, and exports.

Erick, graduated as a Commercial Engineer in 1989, at the University of Chile. He worked for the Luksic Group, a Chilean business consortium (1990-1995), in charge of developing new businesses in the electricity market. Later, he worked for ThyssenKrupp AG, where he worked on the business expansion of one of its subsidiaries, in new mining, petrochemical and gas projects, generating new commercial niches throughout Latin America, from Mexico to Chilean Patagonia.

Erick also was part of Finning international Inc., the main representative in Chile of Caterpillar Inc. There he worked in the commercial area of SITECH, a division in charge of the development of applied geo-technology science between Caterpillar and TRIMBLE, (2011-2018). Today Erick is the COO of MKS Industrial Ltd., a technology company in thermal energy conservation processes.

Jemma is a business and public relations expert with more than 7 years of experience.  Jemma has a Master’s in Chinese from the University of Oxford and a Master’s in International Law from the China University of Political Science and Law. She worked at the United Nations in China and at the China Centre of the University of Oxford before pairing up with Zixuan Wang to launch Tech Company Asha Go, a service and information platform for foreigners living in China. She is fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese.

Maria it´s a committed Physiotherapist and passionate professional with more than five years of experience in research and health education. Maria has the title of Physical Therapist from the Pontifical Catholic University of Valparaiso, Chile (2013), Master in Social Medicine and Health Management from the Dalian Medical University (2018) , and Ph.D. in Health Management from Dalian Medical University (2022). She works in the research field and preventive medicine, joining international research teams and helped to develop various investigations, specially projects with the goal of improve the health conditions of different populations, reinforcing prevention and health based on scientific evidence.

Diana is a Doctoral student at Tsinghua University in Beijing China. Diana holds a Master of Science in Design and Simulation at the National Polytechnical University in Ecuador, graduated with honours Summa Cum Laude. Mechanical Engineering by the Universidad de las Fuerzas Armadas ESPE.

2017. Lema obtained his degree in Electronics Engineering at ESPOCH in 2017.

He worked as a Research Engineer in several projects at EPN for 3 years, where he focused on software development for robotic applications. His experience includes working with ROS (Robot Operating System), a framework based on C++, Python and Linux operating systems for robotic software development.

Currently, his interest in developing real-world solutions based on the leading-edge software has led him to focus on blockchain technology.
